This month, MWFAAN celebrates Nafisa Atiku, a lawyer, Mandela Washington Fellow, and founder of the NAF Foundation, for her exceptional servant leadership. Nafisa empowers young African women through mentorship and capacity building in politics, entrepreneurship, technology, and advocacy against gender-based violence and climate change. A TEDx speaker, Royal African Awardee, and author of “Girls Just Want to Run,” she’s a recognized voice on gender justice, governance, and social impact. Her work has been featured on BBC, Blueprint, and Punch, and she’s consulted with organizations like the UN, AU, and various international missions.
